PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The field of finance has assumed a key role in managerial decision-making in both public and private sector enterprises. Irrespective of the functional area of operation, a minimum threshold of awareness in finance and accounting is essential for all present and aspiring managers. Capital market regulators and stock exchanges are making it mandatory for the top management of companies to be finance-literate. Organisations are competing for funds through capital market channels, which requires prudent financial management. A working knowledge of finance helps executives in their leadership roles.
The Financial Acumen for Non-Finance Managers program is designed to introduce the disciplines of finance and accounting to working executives. At the end of this program, participants are expected to gain an appreciation and understanding of the key tools, techniques, and concepts of finance and accounting.
