Prof Procyon Mukherjee has held transformational roles in procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, operations planning, integration, strategic sourcing, logistics, cost and waste reduction, and sustainability. He is a visiting faculty at SIU, consulting lead in supply chains and circular procurement, and author of ‘The Search for Value in Supply Chains’.
He was a designated senior leader at LafargeHolcim. He held the position of Head Performance Management Group & Chief Procurement Officer - India (overseeing 35 plants) and was a member of the Executive Committee at ACC & Ambuja Cement. He was integral to the strategy formulation team at ACC & Ambuja Cement and was a Global Procurement Council member.
He also held senior leadership roles at Aditya Birla, Hindalco, Belur & Mouda, and Novelis. He has received several awards and had the ‘Top Voice of LinkedIn’ title in 2016 and 2017.
He was a keynote speaker at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Vinod Gupta School of Business, IIT KGP, SP Jain Institute of Management, Balaji Institute of Modern Management, SIOM, Goa Management Institute, and several other prestigious institutions.
